Some Links
I had a public drive with writing from both Palestinian and Jewish authors that I lost and cannot find again, so if anyone has this link please do send it.
Places to donate:
Pieces I thought were good:
“Have We Learned Nothing?” by David Klion (n+1)
“We Cannot Cross Until We Carry Each Other” by Arielle Angel (Jewish Currents)

Below is an extract from my own email to my MP:
“I am Jewish; I have no interest in supporting or excusing the actions of Hamas, and have no interest in being dismissed as an apologist or a self loather. My grandmother came to this country from Nazi Germany when she was just seventeen years old. Without the support of a sponsor family of Quakers, she would not have been able to. The British government did nothing to save my great grandparents. When I see the conditions in which the people of Gaza and the West Bank are forced to live, and the monstrous cheapness of their lives, their meagre chances for resistance or even the assertion of their humanity, and the dehumanising words spoken about them by so many in power, I think of the insistence that it is the actions of the Israeli government and military that keep me safe as a member of the Jewish diaspora, and I find this darkly funny. My affinity is not with violent militarised imperialism, or politicians whose words about living breathing people could be right out of a fascist manifesto; my affinity, solidarity and identification is, as it always has been and always will be, with oppressed and brutalised people it is, as it always has been and always will be, with oppressed and brutalised peoples. There are brave Israelis who protest these actions, with far more at stake than people who blithely split hairs about the meaning of the word genocide, and I also feel an affinity with them, as well as Jewish people all round the world who will not stand by and watch this done in their name […]
“International law states that healthcare and aid workers must be able to tend to the wounded, and there cannot be any exception to this rule, even as the perpetrators claim they do it to keep the Jewish people of the world safe. I reject this claim and my grief is not their weapon […]
“The British government failed the Jews of Europe. Please do not fail the people of Palestine.”
